Since its launch in 2022, OpenAI's AI-powered chatbot, ChatGPT, has had a significant worldwide influence. The speech mode on the artificial intelligence (AI) platform seems to be getting an upgrade. According to reports, code found in a recent takedown of an unannounced version of ChatGPT for Android indicates updates that would enable voice discussions and the integration of rich material into the dialogue. Users of ChatGPT may also have access to new buttons that allow them to mute or unmute the microphone and finish voice conversations.

ChatGPT is attempting to improve its speech feature, according to an Android Authority APK analysis. References to a forthcoming feature that improves audio chats with ChatGPT by merging them directly into the main chat interface are included in new code discovered by the publication on version 1.2025.294.
Instead of launching a separate speech screen that takes up the majority of the screen, users will soon be able to hold a voice discussion from within the ChatGPT chat interface. There will be new buttons for users to mute or unmute the microphone and stop the discussion. A video demonstrating the functionality of the updated user interface has also been provided by the magazine.
The decision to show additional material, such as links and maps, within audio chats should make it easier for users to follow and comprehend talks, as users are now unable to access rich content on ChatGPT's full-screen speech mode.
