Adele is just interested in seeing her friend Rihanna perform at the Super Bowl.
"I'm going solely for Rihanna!" the Easy on Me crooner said to an audience member at her Las Vegas residency event at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace on Friday, February 3, 2023. "I don't care a [expletive] a flying [expletive]."
According to Billboard, Rihanna's impending halftime act at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, on February 12, 2023, will be her first live performance in seven years.
The performance has been renamed Apple Music Super Bowl Halftime Show and is produced by DPS in collaboration with Roc Nation.
Similarly, Rihanna confessed her love for the Rolling in the Deep singer back in 2012.
"Really, I came to the BRITs simply to stalk Adele," the Diamonds hitmaker remarked after the U.K. awards presentation where she had recently performed on The Jonathan Ross Show.
"It wasn't about me; it wasn't about the BRITs; it wasn't about the performance. It was mostly to see Adele again. "I adore her."
The music icons ultimately met, however Adele can't remember the first time she met the Fenty Beauty founder.
"I genuinely can't remember meeting Rihanna for the first time; I was probably numb from the shock of it," Adele said in a tribute to Rihanna for Time's 100 Most Influential People of 2018.
Rihanna's first broadcast performance since the 2018 Grammys will take place during the Super Bowl. Since 2016's Anti, she hasn't released a full-length album.
