It is not recommended that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry be invited to King Charles' coronation.
Esther Krakue, a royal specialist, believes the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will add a Kardashian-style drama to the event.
"[The Palace] feels like if they invite the Sussexes, they can get ahead of the narrative since, one way or another, they will still figure in the coronation whether they are present or not," Ms Krakue claims.
"They've made sure that whatever happens with the royals, the attention is on them as well," she continued.
"So, I kind of understand the King's perspective, but the truth is: the coronation is still a public affair, it's still a public event," Ms Krakue told Sky News Australia. "It's a tradition that we love, and we'd simply like to keep it alive and relevant to current times," I believe many Britons are weary of hearing about it. "I don't believe we want to continue this Kardashian-style stupid affair to the coronation, which is exactly what will happen if the Sussexes attend," she said.
