Cillian Murphy keeps his interest in playing Doctor Doom in the Fantastic Four

Fans' excitement builds as Cillian Murphy answers rumours that she may portray Doctor Doom in the forthcoming Fantastic Four film, thereby joining the Marvel Universe. 

The actor indicated during a recent appearance on the podcast Happy Sad Confused that his choice to take on the part would be based on the screenplay. Murphy recognised the unpredictability of the entertainment world, keeping the door open for his participation.

Murphy, who previously played the Scarecrow in Christopher Nolan's Dark Knight trilogy, demonstrated his ability as a supervillain. 

The Fantastic Four film, which was originally scheduled for release on February 14, 2025, has been postponed owing to an ongoing strike in the industry. 

Kevin Feige, the CEO of Marvel Studios, voiced his excitement for the picture, calling it one of his most anticipated forthcoming projects. He emphasised the Fantastic Four's significance as the cornerstone for the Marvel Comics world, with the planned adaptation becoming a part of the Marvel Cinematic world (MCU) for the first time.

Despite the strike's delay, fans are anxiously awaiting casting decisions and other advancements on the long-awaited Fantastic Four remake.
