A royal specialist says Meghan Markle and Prince Harry will face 'humiliation' if they are seen with the royal family again, despite rumours that King Charles has invited them to the annual family reunion at Balmoral Castle in Scotland.

According to royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams, the California-based couple risk "humiliation" if they are seen with King Charles, Prince William, Camilla, Kate Middleton, and other royals again.

"This would be one of the most bizarre events in royal history if they did return after all the attacks," the royal expert added.

"The idea that Meghan and Harry could just walk back in after everything that has happened is beyond extraordinary."

This, according to Richard, comes despite rumours that King Charles has maintained Harry and Meghan's names on the list of invitees for this year's royal summer holiday.

Meanwhile, Meghan and Harry are not likely to join the royal family, according to sources.
