Poco confirmed the arrival of the new Poco M6 Pro 5G smartphone in India on Monday (July 31). The Xiaomi sub-brand released a teaser on social media, revealing details about the future handset's design. The Poco M6 Pro 5G is seen in cyan with a dual rear camera system. Poco has not said when the 5G handset would be available. However, considering the availability of the teaser, the launch might be imminent. The Poco M6 Pro 5G is believed to be the successor of the Poco M4 Pro 5G, which was released in the nation in February of last year.
Himanshu Tandon, Poco India Head, confirmed the launch of the Poco M6 Pro 5G in the nation through Twitter. The picture does not mention the smartphone's specific debut date, but it is accompanied by a 'Ready to disrupt the 5G game' tag and a 'coming soon' hashtag.

The teaser photographs show the phone in cyan from the back, with curved panels. With the same rectangular-shaped camera module and dual-tone design as the Poco M4 Pro 5G, it appears to be quite similar. It is shown with a dual back camera system and an LED flash. It also sports Poco logo on the back.
The Poco M6 Pro 5G is projected to be an improvement over last year's Poco M4 Pro 5G. The latter was released in February of last year and costs Rs. 14,999 for the 4GB RAM + 64GB storage option. The 6GB + 128GB configuration costs Rs. 16,999, while the top-end 8GB + 128GB model costs Rs. 18,999.
The Poco M4 Pro 5G has a 6.6-inch full-HD+ Dot Display with a refresh rate of 90Hz. It is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 810 SoC and up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM. The device features a dual back camera arrangement with a 50-megapixel primary sensor and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide sensor. For selfies, the phone has a 16-megapixel sensor on the front, which is combined with an f/2.45 lens. It has up to 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage with microSD card expansion (up to 1TB) and is powered by a 5,000mAh battery with 33W Pro fast charging.
