According to a recent rumour, Prince Harry and his bride Meghan Markle are 'promising to rent an apartment at Kensington Palace' in order to demonstrate to Prince William that they are serious about rejoining the royal family.
The Duke of Sussex is serious about reuniting with the Firm, but "he [Harry] doesn't want to become a prisoner of the palace," according to a source.
"He and Meghan want to keep a sense of balance in their lives and their mental health intact," an insider told OK magazine, adding of the couple's desire to be near yet isolated from the public eye.
"He and Meghan have offered to rent and furnish an apartment at Kensington Palace." According to the same source, "he hopes that will please William and demonstrate that they are serious about returning."
However, royal analyst Tom Bower believes Meghan and Harry will be unable to return because to the familial tension.
"I don't think he can come back," he said. "He's done so much damage to the family, and the concern now is that if he returns, he may do even more."
The expert shared his opinions and information about Meghan, who has endured a slew of business disappointments in recent months, saying, "She's not close to William and Kate... I'm sure the last thing she'd want to do is return to England and live in a little, cramped flat near Kensington Palace."
Since the notorious Sussexit, King Charles III's two sons, William and Harry, have had a tumultuous relationship.
