In recent months, Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle have apparently taken a new approach for their public image, offering some much-needed comfort to King Charles and Queen Camilla following their acrimonious feud.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex appear to be more concerned with their own destiny than with the royal family. According to a source, the couple's decision "encouraged" the rest of the Firm.
Meghan and Harry, who resigned aside from their royal responsibilities in 2020 and went to the United States, have publicly discussed their terrible experiences at the Firm.
The couple's first revealing chat occurred during their infamous interview with US TV broadcaster Oprah Winfrey, during which the Duchess stated that queries concerning Archie's skin colour were posed.
The former Suits star reportedly claimed that Kate Middleton made her weep after they disagreed on bridesmaid outfits, while Harry said that King Charles and Prince William were "trapped" in the establishment.
Spare, the Duke's memoir, also offered hitherto unseen levels of information about his upbringing and growing up in the royal family. He accused William of assaulting him physically during a fight.
However, after being dismissed by Spotify early this year, the US-based royals are said to be focused on different commercial initiatives.
According to reports, the two want to move on and have agreed to stop focusing on the past. The royal family has expressed their relief at the decision.
Despite a lack of recent statements criticising the family, ties between Harry and the rest of the royals are still "not good," according to Rebecca English, royal editor of the Daily Mail.
The Firm "feel encouraged by claims that Harry and Meghan are now determined to focus on the future rather than family recriminations," she stated.
