After seeing Oppenheimer, Oliver Stone became a fan of Christopher Nolan, and he once passed the script on J. Robert Oppenheimer's life because he couldn't figure out what it was about.
"I sat through 3 hours of Oppenheimer on Saturday, gripped by Chris Nolan's narrative." His screenplay is complex and engaging. I once turned down a job because I couldn't find my way to the substance of the book by Kai Bird and Martin J. Sherwin. "Nolan has discovered it," the JFK director tweeted.
Saturday, I sat through 3 hours of #Oppenheimer, gripped by Chris Nolan’s narrative. His screenplay is layered & fascinating. Familiar with the book by Kai Bird & Martin J. Sherwin, I once turned the project down because I couldn’t find my way to its essence. Nolan has found it. pic.twitter.com/4WSljbYxPb

The Academy Award winner praised the director's directing in the WWII scientific epic as "mind-boggling and eye-popping."
The legendary filmmaker also enthused over the actors, particularly the star, Cillian Murphy.
"Each actor surprises me, especially Cillian Murphy, whose exaggerated eyes here feel normal playing a genius like Oppenheimer," observed the 76-year-old.
Stone concluded the piece by saying Oppenheimer is a "classic" that he "never believed could be made in this climate."
Oppenheimer, on the other hand, extended Nolan's winning record, crossing $230 million at the global box office.
