Angus Cloud's untimely death has surprised everyone in the business, even his Euphoria co-stars, who said he's thrilled to work on the series' third season.
Cloud, who portrayed Fezco in the blockbuster series, stated in October that he was looking forward to seeing how things went for his favourite character in the new season.
Cloud told E! News at the time, "I can't wait to get back to work with everyone."
"It feels like it's been a long time." "I can't wait to see everyone and work on set again," the actor said.
The late actor lauded Euphoria creator Sam Levinson, saying, "Knowing Sam, it will be good."
Cloud also told the site that he was working on a "couple of projects" outside from Euphoria, adding, "I can't wait for everyone to see."
"They're different from what I usually do." So it'll be nice," the 25-year-old continued.
Because of the creator's role in the contentious programme Idol, HBO executive Francesca Orsi told Deadline in May that Euphoria will most certainly return in 2025.
Cloud, meantime, died on July 31 at his family's home in Oakland, California. In a statement sent to E! News, his family confirmed his passing.
"Angus was open about his struggle with mental health, and we hope that his death will serve as a reminder to others that they are not alone and should not fight this alone in silence."
"There was so much happening on his face without him doing anything," a casting director told Complex last year. And you can't pull that off."
Cloud's onscreen brother Walton in Euphoria paid homage to the actor on social media after his death, adding, "Rest easy brother."
Meanwhile, HBO released a statement adding, "He was an immensely talented and beloved member of the HBO and Euphoria families."
