The wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton was a spectacle, with millions of people watching it live across the world.
While it was easy to be impressed by the ceremony's grandeur and Kate's magnificent Alexander McQueen gown, many people must have missed the bride's secret question to her groom immediately after their vows.
As the newlywed pair climbed aboard their "one-topped carriage," she turned to him and asked William a three-word inquiry, according to royal writer Robert Jobson.
He writes in his book, Catherine: The Princess of Wales: The biography states that Kate glanced at him and said, "Are you happy?"
William responded with a heartfelt, "It was amazing." I'm so glad you're my wife."
Prince William and Kate met while studying art history at St Andrews University and quickly fell in love. After years of dating, William proposed on their trip to Kenya.
The now-Prince and Princess of Wales married in Westminster Abbey on April 29, 2011. They had their first child, George, in 2013, followed by Charlotte in 2015 and Louis in 2018.
Kate, who just revealed her shocking illness, praised her "supportive" husband amid "an incredibly tough couple of months for our entire family."
In her health update, she stated: "Having William by my side is a great source of comfort and reassurance."
