OnePlus Nord Buds 3 Pro debuted during the company's Summer Launch Event earlier this month. OnePlus appears to be working on a new set of premium true wireless earbuds, the Buds Pro 3, as a sequel to last year's OnePlus Buds Pro 2. OnePlus has yet to announce their arrival, but a fresh leak gives us the first look at the earbuds and their characteristics. The OnePlus Buds Pro 3 earphones are touted to last for up to 43 hours. Other rumored critical characteristics include an IP55 certification and Bluetooth version 5.4.
OnePlus Nord Buds Pro 3 Design Leaked
Smartprix has published supposed renderings and information for the OnePlus Buds Pro 3. The new earphones look to have a similar casing design to the Nord Buds 3 Pro. They include a leather finish on the front, a pairing button on the right, and a USB Type-C connector on the bottom.
The earphones are presented in black and gold finishes, which may be marketed as midnight opus and moon brightness, respectively. The OnePlus Nord Buds Pro 3 stems have a glossy appearance, while the in-ear earbuds and ear tips are matte. They have L and R engravings. Each earbud also says "Co-created with Dynaudio".
OnePlus Nord Buds Pro 3 Specifications (Expected)
On the specification front, the OnePlus Buds Pro 3 are touted to provide up to 43 hours of battery life with the cover, a four-hour boost over the OnePlus Buds Pro 2. A ten-minute charge period is touted to provide five hours of music listening. They are intended to be dust and water resistant up to IP55.
For communication, the OnePlus Buds Pro 3 will allegedly employ Bluetooth 5.4. They claimed to contain a dual driver configuration with an 11mm woofer and a 6mm tweeter. The earbuds are expected to include a Digital-to-Analog Converter (DAC) and support the LHDC 5.0 audio codec with 24-bit/192kHz audio.
The OnePlus Buds Pro 3 are touted to have a maximum output of 50dB, up from 49dB on the Buds Pro 2. They are rumored to have Dynaudio EQ and may enable dual connections as well. The casing is supposed to size 6.5 x 5.2 x 2.6 cm and weighs 61 grams.
The OnePlus Buds Pro 2 were introduced in February of last year for Rs. 11,999; based on this, the journal anticipates that the Buds Pro 3 would cost roughly Rs. 12,000 in India.
