Princess Alexia of the Netherlands is preparing for an exciting new chapter in her life as she moves to London.
In only a few weeks, the 19-year-old queen will start her studies at University College London, where she will major in Science and Engineering for Social Change.
The choice was made after great thought. According to the NL Times, Alexia considered several possibilities before deciding on UCL.
Earlier this year, she admitted to being "a little stressed" about picking the proper university, with other options including the University of Groningen in the Netherlands.
Alexia's new academic career begins with her relocation, after previously studying in the UK at the United World College of the Atlantic in Wales from 2021 to 2023.
Her course selection highlights her dedication to solving social concerns via scientific and engineering solutions, as well as her desire to continue her education with an emphasis on meaningful change.
