Selena Gomez recently discussed her experience working with Meryl Streep in Only Murders in the Building.
The singer-actress told The Hollywood Reporter, "I don't even think I spoke the first day she was around."
"She was so excited, and when she came on set, she told everybody that she loves the show," Selena said.
The singer-songwriter went on, "I was just admiring her."
"She's an inspiration and she's someone who is incredibly talented while being very humble, and professional and kind," according to the 32-year-old.
Selena told the newspaper that "I've learned so much from her just by being Meryl."
When asked about working with Meryl on the Only Murders set, the singer stated that she was "chilled to get to experience in person".
"My favorite moment was watching Meryl sing onstage," she said.
The performer stated, "She would do it a cappella, live every time, and I cried." I wasn't in the scene, but I was sitting in the audience and was moved to tears.
"Her dedication to her work is truly astounding. "It was lovely," said the actress and singer.
Meanwhile, Only Murders in the Building season 4 will premiere on Hulu on August 27.
