Zac Efron is quickly recovering after being hospitalized in Ibiza.
A day after informing fans of his hospitalization in Ibiza, Spain, the High School Musical star, 36, came to Instagram to reassure them of his recovery.
He commented, "Happy and healthy," and included a photo of himself doing weights on an exercise ball. He added, "Thanks for the well wishes."
On Saturday, August 3, TMZ revealed Efron's "minor swimming incident" from Friday night.
Two workmen spotted the Iron Claw star in a villa's pool and hauled him out. It is still unknown what happened, whether Efron had a medical issue or was in risk of drowning.
However, Efron's manager emphasized that the hospital visit was only a "precautionary measure" and told fans that the actor is "recovering just fine" after being released on Saturday morning.
The Greatest Showman star has been vacationing in Ibiza since July 26, when he attended the opening ceremony of the 2024 Paris Olympics.
Prior to the incident, Efron performed alongside DJ Martin Garrix at Ushuaïa Ibiza Hotel and Beach Club. Fans filmed a TikTok video of Efron dancing and pumping up the audience while Garrix performed one of his songs.
