Emma Corrin opened out about which character's murder at the hands of her villain character Cassandra Nova made her feel "terrible."
The Deadpool & Wolverine actor, who made her Marvel Cinematic Universe debut, recalls being "absoooolutely mad" when their supervillain killed Chris Evans' Human Torch following his surprise appearance.
The actor previously played the Marvel superhero in the 2005 and 2007 Fantastic Four films.
"I felt so bad when we were in the screening the other day," Corrin told British GQ.
"Because we watched it after the New York premiere with all these Lincoln Center full of fans, and everyone was so excited when they see him appear on screen, and then after three minutes, I've killed him," she told me.
"I felt awful. I hid in my seat. Yes, that was bizarre. If you had asked me a few years ago, I would never have imagined myself doing this."
Corrin also raved about Marvel's handling of appearances in the blockbuster film.
"That's something [Marvel] do so well, the cameos," Corrin responded.
"They give people what they want. They give them cameos. However, they do not utilize them arbitrarily. Everyone is there for a reason. And I believe you sense it. Or, I hope people notice it, because I believe they're utilized really smartly."
