Don recounted receiving a call from Michael two days before the concert, who told him that he would "determine" when the show would "start".
The late artist claimed that he had a vision for the opening, and the cue Michael provided to the director was to remove his spectacles on stage.
Don referred to the late singer as "a general," stating that Michael took the stage with complete dominance.
Michael later put on a magnificent display by playing a medley of some of his best hits at the halftime show.
