The Adobe Premiere app for iOS is now available for download and installation from the App Store. The new video editing software was originally available for pre-order on September 4, and it was officially released on Monday. The company's latest iOS app is free to use, but some functions need a paid membership. Adobe claims that the app provides an experience similar to the desktop Adobe Premiere program and includes capabilities including a multi-track timeline, dynamic audio waveforms, and more.
Adobe Premiere App for Android is also under development
At the time of the launch, the business described the Adobe Premiere software as "a fast, free, and intuitive app that puts pro-level creative control in your hands, without the pro-level complexity." iPhone users may now download the app from the App Store. Adobe said an Android version of the app is presently under development, but no release date has been announced.
Gadgets 360 employees were allowed to download the software. It features a simple UI with a lesson at the top and other utilities listed below. Some of these tools have the labels "New from photo library," "New from files," "New blank project," and "Extract audio."
Some artificial intelligence (AI) functions include video captioning, picture generation, video creation from photographs, and image expansion. These capabilities are locked behind a paywall and require generative AI credits.
Once a project is launched, users will see capabilities comparable to the desktop version, including the ability to pick multi-track timelines and dynamic audio waveforms. The program lets you cut, layer, and fine-tune any frame of a movie. There are also possibilities for adding video, audio, and text layers, as well as styled subtitles and 4K HDR video quality.
While users can start a project on the mobile app and continue it on the desktop, free-tier users have restricted cloud storage. Additional storage will require a paid membership. The Adobe app also grants access to Adobe's whole stock asset collection.
