King Charles is increasingly apprehensive after receiving an ominous report from his sister, Princess Anne.
The Princess Royal, who has been termed the most working royal in the family, was in a major accident last year, which appears to have left her in a difficult situation.
The king, who has always had a strong relationship with his sister, appeared to be in tears during an emotional meeting to discuss her well-being. Charles is becoming increasingly concerned about his sister's health as additional revelations emerge.
Anne was put in the hospital for five days after being struck by a horse at her rural property in an unexpected turn of events.
On Thursday, Anne returned to Southmead Hospital in Bristol, England, where she was treated in June 2024.
Anne informed the medical staff that they had been "filling in the blanks" for her.
"From my perspective, [it] is really useful to know what happened because I seriously don't have any idea," she informed the other employees. "And, sadly, I don't have huge memories of being in here either."
She went on: "I just know I was really well looked after, so thank you."
While she acknowledged to not remembering the encounter, she continued, "I'm also grateful in a strange sort of sense that I don't recall anything, because it has great benefits. You can simply carry on."
The news comes after a royal adviser stated that the cancer-stricken King Charles was "in tears" over his sister's "lifelong loyalty to him."
He apparently couldn't face the prospect of Anne being forced to continue working owing to his health problems. However, Anne reassured him with her direct response and pledged to "get on with the job".
However, insiders say Charles is still concerned about his sister and wants her to be looked for, especially after the injury.
