Travis Kelce, the partner of pop singer Taylor Swift, may make a huge professional move following his Super Bowl 2025 setback.
On Sunday, February 9, the Cruel Summer singer went to the Ceasers Superdome to cheer the Kansas City Chiefs. However, the Philadelphia Eagles defeated the club 40-22.
Following the team's dismal loss, Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes expressed concern about Kelce's future with the organization.
When asked if the NFL player will return next season, Mahomes, 29, replied, "Let Travis make that decision on his own."
"He's given so much to this team and the NFL," he told People. "And he's been such a joy, not only for me to work with, but for people to watch."
"And he knows he still has a lot of football left in him," Brittany Mahomes' husband added of the superstar tight end, pointing out that fans "can see it" because Kelce "always makes plays in the biggest moments."
Kelce and Mahomes were obviously dejected throughout the game as the Eagles increased their advantage to double digits ahead of their squad.
Kelce allegedly sought solace from his celebrity girlfriend in the aftermath of the difficult defeat. Several sites, including Page Six, said that he accompanied Swift, 35, in her suit after the game.
The NFL great had changed out of his jersey and was wearing the same '70s-style rust suit he had worn to the NFL championship game.
