Prince William would ensure that Prince Andrew did not make a Royal comeback despite reports that he could resume responsibilities.
The "disgraced" Duke of York's attendance at the Easter church service alongside King Charles and other Royals was deemed significant by royal analysts.
According to royal analyst Phil Dampier, while Charles still loves his brother and does not want him to be utterly excluded, Andrew's participation was more about demonstrating family unity than making a return.
He stated that the Prince of Wales firmly opposes Andrew's return to royal responsibilities.
"It was very much a show of family unity," he said to The Sun. "He's not totally out in the cold, but I think it's too early to say it's any kind of comeback for him."
"It is undoubtedly true that William is one of the driving factors behind ensuring that the Duke of York has no future.
"He doesn't feel he can make a return, and I'm told there's a lot of tension between them.
"It made it a lot easier, I think, for Andrew that William wasn't there."
