CMF Buds 2a, CMF Buds 2, and CMD Buds 2 Plus TWS earbuds were released in India on Monday. They support up to 50dB of active noise cancellation (ANC) and are said to have a total battery life of more than 61 hours, including their separate casings. The new headphones work with the Nothing X app and offer dual-device connection. They have a similar design language to the CMF Buds Pro 2 headphones, which were introduced in the nation in July 2024.

The CMF Buds 2a is priced in India at Rs. 2,199, while the CMF Buds 2 and CMF Buds 2 Plus are priced at Rs. 2,699 and Rs. 3,299. They will be available to buy in the nation through Flipkart.
The CMF Buds 2a and Buds 2 are available in Dark Grey and Orange colors. The former also comes in Light Grey, while the Buds 2 come in Light Green. Meanwhile, the CMF Buds 2 Plus come in blue and light grey.

The CMF Buds 2a have 12.4mm Bio-Fibre drivers with Dirac Tuning. The CMF Buds 2, on the other side, include 11mm PMI drivers with Dirac Opteo tuning and N52 magnets. Meanwhile, the CMF Buds 2 Plus include 12mm LCP drivers with LDAC compatibility and Hi-Res Wireless Audio certification. They provide assistance for a personalized Personal Sound hearing profile via a "precise pure tone audiometry test."
CMF claims that the entry-level Buds 2a supports up to 42dB ANC and comes with a transparency mode. The basic CMF Buds 2 support up to 48dB hybrid ANC, while the Plus model supports up to 50dB ANC with Smart Adaptive Mode.
All new TWS headsets in the CMF Buds 2 series have Wind Noise Reduction 3.0, Ultra Bass Technology 2.0, and call noise reduction capabilities. The CMF Buds 2a contain four HD microphones with Clear Voice Technology support, whilst the vanilla and Plus models have six HD mics, each having Clear Voice Technology 3.0. Additionally, all three headsets feature the Spatial Audio effect.
The CMF Buds 2 series TWS earbuds can offer low-latency mode for up to 110ms. They are compatible with the Nothing X app and allow for dual-device communication. The entry-level CMF Buds have an IP54 rating for dust and splash protection, while the basic and Plus models have an IP55 rating.
The casings of all three TWS earphones include a 460mAh battery. The CMF Buds 2a contain 43mAh cells in each earbud, but the Buds 2 and Buds 2 Plus have 53mAh batteries. Without ANC, the CMF Buds 2a earphones are reported to last up to eight hours, while with the case, they last around 35.5 hours. A 10-minute rapid charge provides up to five and a half hours of playing.
The CMF Buds 2 are said to have a battery life of up to 13 and a half hours, or up to 55 hours with the case. A rapid charge of 10 minutes is touted to provide up to seven and a half hours of playback. Meanwhile, the CMF Buds 2 Plus earbuds are touted to last up to 14 hours on a single charge, or up to 61 and a half hours with the case. With a 10-minute rapid charge, the Plus version can play for up to eight and a half hours.
