CMF Phone 2 Pro, the successor to last year's CMF Phone 1, was released in India on Monday. Nothing's latest device, sold under its CMF sub-brand, comes in four colours and is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Pro processor. The CMF Phone 2 Pro has a 6.77-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate and a triple back camera setup led by a 50-megapixel primary sensor. It is IP54 certified and comes with a 5,000mAh battery that supports both wired and reverse charging.
CMF Phone 2 Pro Price in India and Availability
CMF Phone 2 Pro is priced in India at Rs. 18,999 for the basic 8GB + 128GB RAM and storage variant. The phone is also available in an 8GB + 256GB model, which costs Rs. 20,999. It will be available in Black, Light Green, Orange, and White starting May 5 on Flipkart, the CMF India website, and retail partners.
Axis, HDFC, ICICI Bank, and SBI card users get a Rs. 1,000 discount on transactions. Shoppers can avail of an additional Rs. 1,000 off on exchange. This will bring down the starting price of the CMF Phone 2 Pro to Rs. 16,999.
Like the CMF Phone 1, the new Phone 2 Pro comes with a variety of accessories, including a universal cover, interchangeable lenses, wallet, stand, lanyard, and card holder (available separately).
CMF Phone 2 Pro Specifications
The CMF Phone 2 Pro, which is dual-SIM (Nano+Nano), runs Android 15-based Nothing OS 3.2 and has been verified to receive three years of major Android upgrades and six years of security fixes. The device features a 6.77-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display (1,080×2,392 pixels) with up to 120Hz adaptive refresh rate, 2160Hz PWM frequency, 387ppi pixel density, 480Hz touch sampling rate, and 3,000nits peak brightness. The display is HDR10+ compatible and Panda Glass protected.
The CMF Phone 2 Pro features an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Pro processor and 8GB of RAM. This new chip is said to be 10% quicker on the CPU and up to 5% faster on graphics than last year's CMF Phone 1, which is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 processor. The RAM Booster function allows you to extend the onboard RAM up to 16GB.
The CMF Phone 2 Pro boasts a triple rear camera unit, which includes a 50-megapixel 1/1.57-inch sensor with f/1.88 aperture and EIS, a 50-megapixel telephoto camera with f/1.88 aperture, and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera with f/2.2 aperture and a 119.5-degree field of view. The telephoto camera features 2x optical zoom and 20x digital zoom. On the front, it has a 16-megapixel selfie camera with an f/2.45 aperture. The new phone will use Nothing's TrueLens Engine 3.0 technology to increase photography performance.
The CMF Phone 2 Pro has an inbuilt storage capacity of up to 256GB and enables extension up to 2TB. The smartphone supports 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, and has a USB Type-C connector. It uses an optical in-display fingerprint sensor for authentication.
The device has an IP54 certification for dust and splash protection. Furthermore, it has two microphones. The new phone features an Essential Key that allows users to instantly access the new Essential Space, which contains data like as screenshots, photographs, and voice notes.
The CMF Phone 2 Pro comes with a 5,000mAh battery that enables 33W fast charging and 5W reverse wired charging. The battery pack is touted to provide up to 47 hours of talking time and 22 hours of YouTube viewing on a single charge. The Indian version of the phone includes a charging adaptor and a case in the box. It measures 164×7.8×78mm and weighs 185g.
