CMF Phone 2 Pro is set to be released internationally and in India on April 28. Leading up to its launch, the Nothing subsidiary has teased many elements of the future device, the most recent of which being its artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities. CMF by Nothing has announced that the Phone 2 Pro will include an AI-powered Essential Space feature, which was debuted with the Nothing Phone 3a series on March 4, as well as a dedicated button to enable it.
Essential Space on the CMF Phone 2 Pro
In a post on X (previously Twitter), CMF by Nothing revealed that customers would be able to access their "second memory," the Essential Space function, on the CMF Phone 2 Pro. Similar to the Nothing Phone 3a series, it will be triggered via a special "Essential key" on the phone's right spine, near to the power button.

The teaser movie that accompanied the social media post suggests that Essential Space will provide capabilities comparable to the Nothing Phone 3a series on the CMF Phone 2 Pro.
While the Essential Key allows Camera Capture on the Nothing Phone 3a series, it is unclear whether the same capability will be accessible on the future CMF Phone 2 Pro. Users may be able to rapidly take images and submit them to Essential Space when the camera is activated.
CMF Phone 2 Pro will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Pro CPU. The business promises it would have a 10% faster CPU and up to 5% better graphics than last year's CMF Phone 1. The CPU will be augmented with MediaTek's sixth-generation NPU, which is expected to produce 4.8 tera operations per second (TOPS) of performance.
The phone will include three back cameras: a 50-megapixel 1/1.57-inch sensor, a 50-megapixel telephoto camera with 2x optical zoom, and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera with a 119.5-degree field of view. The device will support BGMI at 120 fps (frames per second) and have a touch sampling rate of 1,000Hz.
More information is likely to become available as the launch date, April 28, approaches.
