Prince William and Kate Middleton celebrate 14 years of marriage this year, but the couple, who married in April 2011, have been the subject of several scandalous rumors.
William initially met his future wife and Queen, Kate, while attending university at St. Andrews, but before settling down, the young and eligible prince had a number of flings, including a few romances at the same location where he eventually met Kate.
According to stories, before meeting Kate, William dated at least three young ladies at St. Andrews, with Rose Farquhar standing out as his 'first love'.
Rose, the daughter of Captain Ian Farquhar, the previous master of the Beaufort Hunt, is reported to have met Prince William at the Beaufort Polo Club in Gloucestershire, where they hit it off with sparks flying.
While William's on-again, off-again romance with Kate deteriorated, he continued to date, but maintained a strong connection with none other than his 'first love', Rose.
Rose was notably sighted at her ex-love William's historic wedding to Kate in 2011.
Furthermore, 11 years later, Prince William repaid the favor by attending Rose's wedding to George Gemmell in 2022. That's some friendship!
It is worth noting that Prince William and Kate Middleton have been married since April 2011 and have three children, Princes George and Louis, and Princess Charlotte.
