Avengers: Doomsday is Marvel's impending tentpole film, and the company is heavily pushing it.
Kevin Feige, the franchise's boss, just said that "We officially start on [April 28]."
Next to him was Florence Pugh, who was advertising Thunderbolts* alongside him.
"Officially?" she inquired. Kevin answered, "That was a pre-photography day that you did." The actor who played Yelena responded, "I feel so lucky."
Marvel, on the other hand, has a stringent spoiler policy, and ahead of Avengers: Doomsday, the studio is doubling down on his 'intimidation approach.'
Wyatt Russell, who portrayed John Walker/US Agent in Thunderbolts*, told Comic Book that "media training for Doomsday is they just hold a knife to your neck and said 'You say anything, and it's over.'"
While the film's director, Jake Schreier, stated that he was not subject to such limitations because he was not part in the future Avengers production.
"You know what's funny is that I feel like I never got taken into the back room and really given the talking to," the writer/director stated.
"I think maybe they know it's out in the world now and you just learn not to to reveal anything," Jake speculated.
Avengers: Doomsday will be released on May 1, 2026.
