Meghan Markle and Prince Harry appear to be in a long-running spat, which stems from his desire to visit his ill father in the United Kingdom.
An insider revealed what happens behind closed doors in Montecito.
According to their findings, which were shared with the Globe, "Harry would have liked to pay his dad a visit, but he didn't - and everyone is saying it was his fear of upsetting Meghan that held him back."
The visit in issue was meant to take place following his hearing before the Appeals Court for taxpayer-funded security.
At the time, he also hinted at "what's being held back" and cautioned that people "would be shocked" to learn that his "worst fears have been confirmed by the whole legal disclosure," and "it's really sad."
During that period, King Charles is said to have shut off connection with his son due to concerns about potential legal ramifications if "something he says privately could be used in court."
Richard Fitzwilliams explains that this is because "in a nutshell, the royal family does not trust Harry."
