Meghan Markle is open about her alleged interest in politics

 

Meghan Markle is a multi-hyphenate woman with Netflix programs, a podcast, a children's book, and more on her resume, but will she enter politics?

Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, 43, made her debut podcast appearance as a guest on The Jamie Kern Lima Show. During the show, Meghan discussed her marriage to Prince Harry, praised his qualities as a spouse, and disclosed if she will ever run for politics in the United States.

Meghan wore no makeup and a pair of casual black sweatpants for the program.

Kern Lima asked the Duchess to explain reports about her desire to become a politician, saying, "Would you ever run for office?

"No," Meghan said emphatically. "Never. "Oh, goodness."

"You could say, 'Never say never.'" No, I am not interested in it. "No," the Duchess of Sussex said.

Given Meghan's powerful and confident character, some have speculated that she may be interested in a career in politics after her return to the United States with her husband Harry.

Meghan and Harry have followed the Royal Family's policy of not actively supporting any political party in the United States elections.

The Duke of Sussex stated in 2020, "Many of you may not be aware that I have not been permitted to vote in the United Kingdom for my whole life. As we approach November, we must resist hate speech, disinformation, and internet negativity.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry reside in Montecito with their children, Prince Arche and Princess Lilibet.
