Mivi, a consumer technology business located in Hyderabad, has provided additional details with Gadgets 360 about its upcoming Mivi AI voice assistant. The startup revealed the workings of the AI model, text interface, freemium model, and training techniques. Notably, the AI system is mostly a voice-based experience, allowing users to converse with various avatars, ask questions, get food recommendations, and even receive a curated list of news articles. Mivi AI is presently under development and is set to be released shortly.

Based on the demo provided by the business, Mivi AI looks to be an AI-powered voice assistant with whom customers may converse as long as they have appropriate earphones plugged in.
However, the business clarified that two components are necessary before consumers can use the AI helper. The first is the AIBuds, which are Mivi's future earphones and the only product that presently supports AI. The second is Mivi Audio, the company's smartphone companion app. The assistant will only operate if the user has linked the AIBuds to the accompanying app.
Mivi AI, according to the startup, will be "text and screen-free" experience. This indicates that the corporation is going for a voice-based experience. However, this does not imply that there is no text interface. Mivi stated that the companion app will display a text interface, but it is solely intended to save talks, not to engage in chats with the AI.
Another intriguing piece of information revealed by the firm is that Mivi AI will be a free service, which means that as long as consumers own a set of compatible earphones, they will not have to pay for anything else. However, the Hyderabad-based consumer tech company is also proposing a freemium approach for its AI service. This means there will be an optional paid membership, similar to Gemini and OpenAI, that will provide additional premium services.
Finally, the business provided specifics regarding the AI model and its training procedure. Notably, Mivi AI is the company's in-house AI model that was constructed from scratch. It has been trained on hundreds of proprietary datasets containing a significant number of audio samples in a variety of accents, tones, and circumstances, including those with heavy background noise. According to Mivi, this allows the AI model to quickly detect audio from users even when they are outside or in a busy environment.
