Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have finally gotten support despite persistent criticism as their pal reveals their genuine selves.
Despite widespread criticism, celebrity chef José Andrés praised the Duke and Duchess of Sussex for their humanitarian efforts.
Andrés told Page Six that he was perplexed by the "hate" aimed at the couple, who had been accused of being "disaster tourists" during their wildfire rescue efforts in Los Angeles.
Harry and Meghan were also chastised for utilizing a four-car convoy in New York.
He claimed he was "baffled" by the "hate" hurled at the California-based royals, but that Harry and Meghan are "friends" and "an amazing couple."
"I can only discuss the excellent things they do. "They could be in their own cave and do nothing [after leaving as senior working royals]," he explained.
"[They want to] give concerns a voice and bring them to life. When they were in Los Angeles during the flames, they were truly present.
"When the cameras were not rolling, they were there listening to people, and they made them feel like the most important person in the world."
