The Red Magic 10 Air has been revealed in a few chosen worldwide countries. The handset is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, an in-house R3 chip, and a nine-layer ICE-X cooling system. It features two 50-megapixel back cameras, a 16-megapixel front camera, and a 6,000mAh battery with 80W wired fast charging capability. The smartphone features a Magic Key, RGB lighting, and shoulder triggers with a 520Hz response rate. The latest update to the series comes months after the business launched the Red Magic 10 Pro+ and Red Magic 10 Pro in China in November 2024.
Red Magic 10 Air Price and Availability
The Red Magic 10 Air is priced at $499 (approximately Rs. 42,600) for the 12GB+256GB model and $649 (about Rs. 55,400) for the 16GB+512GB variation. The latter is available in Flare (orange), while the former also comes in Hailstone (white) and Twilight (black).
The smartphone will be on sale in the United States on May 7 through the Red Magic website. From April 29 to May 6, it will provide an early bird discount voucher of $30 (approximately Rs. 2,600).
Red Magic 10 Air Features and Specifications
The Red Magic 10 Air features a 6.8-inch full-HD+ (1,116×2,480 pixels) AMOLED display with up to 120Hz refresh rate, 2,000Hz touch sampling rate, 1,600 nits peak brightness, and Corning Gorilla Glass protection.
It is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, which is said to be augmented with a RedCore R3 CPU for gaming. It can accommodate up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB of UFS 4.0 internal storage. The phone comes pre-installed with RedMagicOS 10, which is based on Android 15.
The Red Magic 10 Air boasts a dual rear camera system that includes a 50-megapixel main sensor with optical image stabilisation (OIS) and a 50-megapixel ultrawide shooter. It also includes a 16-megapixel front-facing camera sensor for selfies and video calls.
The device has DTS-X certified speakers, a Magic Key that can be customized, and RGB illumination. The device has capacitive shoulder triggers with a reaction rate of 520Hz and a nine-layer ICE-X cooling system for heat dissipation.
The Red Magic 10 Air has a 6,000mAh battery and 80W wired rapid charging capability. It supports Google's Circle to Search and Gemini AI capabilities. The connectivity choices include 5G, 4G, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, NFC, and a USB Type-C connection. The handset is 164.3×76.6×7.85mm in size and weighs 205g.
