Sarah Ferguson, Prince Andrew's ex-wife who currently lives in the royal lodge with her former husband, has made an unexpected statement concerning her departure as the Duke's condition worsens.
Ferguson, sometimes known as Fergie, has wowed fans by disclosing her next steps as an author and philanthropist.
The Duchess of York, 77, shared good news with her Instagram followers, clearly ignoring Andrew's suffering amidst his ongoing problems and quarrel over the royal lodge to commemorate a key milestone.
The Duchess shared a poster headed 'Spears 500 Live', writing: "I am delighted to announce that I will be speaking at this year's Spear's 500 Live on Wednesday, May 7th at the Savoy in London."
The mother of Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie went on to say, "I will be taking part in a panel discussion entitled 'Inspiring a New Era of Great British Philanthropy'"
It comes only days after the Duke of York was embroiled in a new controversy over his potential ties to a Chinese spy when a judge published documents in the case.
