Steve Buscemi, who just appeared alongside Jenna Ortega on the second season of Wednesday, describes her as a terrific performer.
The 67-year-old actor plays Barry Dort in the forthcoming season, which will premiere this year.
"Oh, she's great," Buscemi told People Magazine during Exploring the Arts' Family Dinner charity event.
Buscemi continued to praise his co-star, saying, "She's just so sharp, funny, and down to earth." And she is a superb performer and scene partner. "The best."
When questioned about what to anticipate from the next sequel, the Boardwalk Empire star remained tight-lipped, stating, "All very hush-hush, as they say, but I think it's going to be a great season, and I loved working on it."
Previously addressing the sequel, Ortega stated that this season features some of the greatest sequences she has ever seen on the program. "Some of the footage that we shot in Wednesday season 2, especially in the last episode, is some of my favorite footage from the show," she said to E! News at the time.
