Ed Sheeran is talking out about his underappreciated friendship with Taylor Swift, describing their lengthy and hilarious catch-up meetings.
During a memorable interview on the Call Her Daddy podcast, the Shape of You singer lovingly remembered his favorite moment with the Anti-hero hitmaker, adding they meet "like four times a year."
He told presenter Alex Cooper exclusively, "I think that the period of time that I was on the Red Tour...you know, I lived in Nashville, and she lived in Nashville, and we used to fly to and from the gigs together..." I truly spent practically every day with her for approximately six months, therefore I believe that period of time."
Despite their hectic schedules, Sheeran revealed that the two manage to have extensive conversations whenever they get the time.
Describing his unique relationship with the 35-year-old Grammy winner, the singer-songwriter went on to say, "I see her when I see her; I maybe see her four times a year... Instead of catching up the entire time, we have true sit-down six-hour catch-ups, which I think is a very wonderful way to do it.
On the professional front, Ed is gearing up for the release of his next album Play, which he previously described as 'playful and joyous.'
