Emma D'Arcy has signed on for Tom Cruise's next major blockbuster.
Tom is now preparing for the premiere of the eighth edition of his Mission: Impossible franchise, which will open in theaters across the world on May 23.
In addition to his next release, the 60-year-old is working on an untitled project directed by Alejandro González Iñárritu, known for The Revenant and Birdman.
The next film will star Cuise, Sophie Wilde, Sandra Huller, John Goodman, and others.
According to the most recent update, the House of Dragons star has joined the cast of the film.
Emma revealed the huge news while speaking with Deadline. She then on: "I'm delighted to be working with such extraordinary and exacting artists as Alejandro and Tom."
She went on: "They are the masters of their craft and witnessing them in combination has been a privilege."
The narrative of the film is still unknown, however the official synopsis states, "The most powerful man in the world embarks on a frantic mission to prove he is humanity's saviour before the disaster he's unleashed destroys everything."
According to reports, filming has already begun at Pinewood Studios in the UK.
