Florence Pugh is poised to star Marvel's forthcoming Thunderbolts* film.
During a recent appearance at a London screening of the highly anticipated film, the 29-year-old revealed that she felt a lot of pressure while playing 'killer Yelena Belova' in the new movie.
She feels that experiencing pressure when filming a Marvel film is typical because people already have their own opinions of the characters.
Pugh remarked, "There's a lot of pressure when you're working on any Marvel project.
The reason for this is because the role being performed has already been liked by many people before someone else takes its place.
The Black Widow actress went on to say, "And even if Marvel had given you the opportunity to do it, people will have their own preconceived notions about what that character should be.
"So it's a huge responsibility, and it's not something that should be taken lightly, and it's not something that you should just expect people to like, and that's part of the challenge and part of the joy of being a part of something so mega."
Florence expressed gratitude that individuals in the MCU considering her for another superhero picture.
Aside from the Hawkeye actress, the upcoming Thunderbolts* picture stars Sebastian Stan, David Harbour, and Lewis Pullman.
