The Prince of Wales is being pushed to channel his cousins Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie's enthusiasm toward strengthening the royal family, as they garner acclaim for their social media efforts.
According to certain royal fans and pundits, the York sisters may be an asset to the team of working royals because they regularly participate in people-friendly activities.
It comes after the Duke and Duchess of York's daughter's recent engagement to Sarah Ferguson earned much appreciation on social media.
Fergie's youngest daughter even sent a message to her official Instagram account following her emotional experience with patients at the Teenage Cancer Trust Ward at UCLH.
Eugenie attempted to explain her thoughts about the new role and aim in her statement, writing, "We are so proud to be Honorary Patrons of Teenage Cancer Trust."
She also discussed her meeting with young patients and their families, as well as the nurses and youth workers who assist them.
A royal insider commended Andrew's daughter's energy and passion, saying: "Her dedication to serving the suffering community indicates that she could be a good choice for King Charles and future monarch William to give her and her elder sister Beatrice working royals status."
"The young royals, specially those who receive praise for their people-friendly work, must be given a chance to serve the Firm and its people," a palace source stated.
Eugenie and Beatrice's latest outing stirred fan excitement, with some expressing a wish to see the York sisters embark on more formal royal tasks, with one commenting: "Both Beatrice and Eugenie never left the Royal Family, despite their limited positions. They both support the working and principal royals because they have a strong sense of family."
However, future King William is said to support his father's plan to simplify the royal family by restricting the number of working royals.
William's close buddy has already stated that he does not plan to include his youngest children, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, on the roster of working royals when they grow up.
