After a difficult year, Kate Middleton's next public appearance will be momentous.

According to Hello! Magazine's royal writer Danielle Stacey, the Princess of Wales is anticipated to attend the Easter Sunday service at St George's Chapel in Windsor alongside Prince William and their children.

While nothing has been confirmed, this would be her first Easter appearance since confirming her cancer diagnosis.

"Kate is still gradually returning to her public duties as she recovers," Stacey said, adding that any confirmation will most likely come on the day itself.

The Easter Sunday liturgy is a staple royal custom, frequently bringing together extended members of the Firm for a rare united appearance. This time last year, the Princess attended the family's Easter gathering silently, just days after learning of her illness.

Kate has already made numerous prominent appearances in recent months, including the Commonwealth Day ceremony, a Holocaust Memorial Day event, and a surprise appearance in the St. Patrick's Day parade.
