After King Charles provides a critical health report, Queen Camilla breaks her silence

 

Queen Camilla has made her first public appearance since King Charles informed royal admirers on his condition after cancer treatment.

During his visit to Impact Hub Yorkshire in Bradford, the King indicated that he believes he is on the "better side" of his cancer journey.

According to King Charles, "I'd like to think I'm on the better side [of my cancer journey]".

Following the monarch's words, the palace provided an update on Queen Camilla's visit.

The palace tweeted photographs and a video of Queen Camilla adding, "After meeting schoolchildren and members of the public in Bradford today, the Queen, as Patron of Literacy Trust, boarded the Bradford Stories Bus." The bus has been transformed into a mobile literacy event venue, encouraging youngsters to read and write for fun."

The Queen visited the Brontës' birthplace in Thornton, West Yorkshire, and formally inaugurated it. This is the first time the public has been permitted to visit the site.

The Queen is an ardent reader, and The Queen's Reading Room has previously presented Emily Brontë's masterpiece 'Wuthering Heights'.
