Billie Lourd pays heartfelt homage to her late mother, Carrie Fisher.
On May 4, which is known as Star Wars Day by fans all around the world, the Scream Queens alum did not let the day pass without commemorating her mother.
Lourd turned to Instagram to post a photo of her kids viewing the 1977 science fiction thriller.
The photos show Lourd's children watching TV with Fisher on the big screen, which looks to be a scene from the Star Wars film.
She captioned the image with many emojis that read, "May the 4th."
Lourd and husband Austen Rydell have two children, Kingston, aged three, and Jackson Joane, aged two.
The message came a few months after Lourd commemorated her mother's untimely death on her seventh anniversary.
"It has been 8 years since my mom died," the actress said in a heartfelt statement in December. "My son would respond, 'That's a lot!' I've always dreaded this day. I spend a lot of time leading up to it worrying about how bad I'm going to feel. My fear is generally correct. "I awoke this morning with a dark cloud over me."
