Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani will celebrate their tenth anniversary later this year.
In an interview with People, the country singer spoke on her marriage, stating, "It honestly does [feel like time is flying by]." Some of the things we talk about have reached the stage in our relationship where it's like, 'Oh, remember what happened...' and you realize, 'Oh my God, that was 8 years ago!' It's like, "How did this happen so fast?"
The 48-year-old admitted that "10 years is a long time," yet it "still feels new for me."
"I believe that might be the key to happiness, that it feels just as exciting, new, and happy," the Some Beach singer continued.
During the conversation, Blake also discussed his work with Gwen on his upcoming album For Recreational Use Only.
He described recording Hangin' On, a song off the next album, as a "definitely challenging" experience.
He explained the approach as follows: "We live together, so we go around the house singing these songs all the time, and we have months to speak about, 'Hey, maybe you jump on that section. We usually arrive at the studio well prepared."
Ben and Gwen married the wedding in 2021. The latter has three children from her previous marriage.
