Brooklyn Beckham recently discussed his relationship with his father and star player, David Beckham.
The Beckham family has lately made news owing to a family feud between the retired player and Victoria Beckham, as well as their son and his wife, Nicola Peltz.
It exacerbated conjecture when Brooklyn and his wife did not attend David's 50th birthday festivities, with The Mail saying that their other son, Romeo's fiancée, Kim Turnbull, had been made the "scapegoat" in the dispute.
However, in an interview with The Sunday Times, Brooklyn appeared to have no grudges toward David, recalling their connection over racing.
Speaking of the Formula E Evo Sessions in Miami, he said, "It's something my dad and I bonded over," adding that his passion for racing began when he was very young.
"My dad's had some pretty cool cars," Brooklyn continued, noting that David's first preference is his "1954 Jaguar, which I very rarely drive, only when the weather's perfect."
These remarks come after it was claimed that the star athlete is "desperate to make amends with his son Brooklyn as he fears history is repeating itself" in reference to David's own tragic fallout with his father, Ted, in 2005.
Even though the 50- and 77-year-old father-son combination are now on excellent terms, there was a period when they wouldn't even talk to one another.
According to The Sun, a close friend of David has remarked, "David and the family genuinely fear Brooklyn will be lost to them forever." The term 'lost' is particularly devastating in this context because it was the precise attitude expressed when David fell out with his father."
