Customers eagerly anticipating the release of the more practical four-door variant of the Dodge Charger Daytona EV will have to wait a little longer. Dodge has announced that the four-door Charger EV will now be available in the later half of 2025 rather than the first half, as previously intended.
The Charger Daytona sedan will now be available in 2026, along with the planned internal combustion Charger Sixpack. The announcement comes less than a week after Dodge dropped the R/T trim from its 2026 range because to heightened uncertainty about US tariff plans.
The Charger Daytona is now only available with the 670-hp Scat Pack powerplant. Despite the few trim options, clients are not without alternatives. Not only will buyers have the option of two or four doors, but Dodge will also offer a new Track package in both body designs. It has enhanced Brembo brakes, with a pair of fixed six-piston calipers up front and four-pot units in the back, all painted red for a sporty look. The Track package includes adjustable dampers, an onboard race recorder, performance seats, and a gloss-black spoiler.
Dodge has also announced the release of two new look choices for the 2026 model year. Customers may now order racing stripes (formally known as Fratzog dual stripes), as well as a gloss black hood.
Dodge has declared that the 2026 models are now available for order, however as of this writing, there is no way to construct or price a 2026 Charger Daytona EV on the automaker's consumer website.
