David and Victoria Beckham are apparently "very eager" to have a baby, but they do not want to "push son Brooklyn and Nicola Petz to start having kids."
An insider told Life & Style on Tuesday: "Victoria and David have both said they don't want to push Brooklyn and Nicola to start having kids, they want them to do it when they feel the time is right, but it's no secret they're very eager for grandkids, they both miss having babies around."
Brooklyn and Nicola married in April 2022 in Palm Beach, Florida, two years after they announced their engagement.
"Brooklyn and Nicola's relationship is extremely strong," affirmed the confidant. "They've been together six years, so they've had plenty of time to test things out and prove that they can go the distance."
According to the source, Brooklyn wants to establish a kid with his actress wife as soon as possible because he "wants to be a young dad, just like David was."
"Nicola and Brooklyn both come from big families — she's got five siblings and they've both said they want a lot of kids themselves — so it's time to start trying," a source told CNN.
"They are not putting too much pressure on things. They want to enjoy the entire process, but they're both healthy and in their twenties, so no one expects them to wait long until they have wonderful news to share," the insider added.
According to a tipster, Victoria "is doing her best not to pester them, but she's very excited and has already started buying cute baby clothes and toys just to be ready."
