James Middleton has opened up about helping his sister Kate Middleton with her cancer treatment.
James mentioned the difficult period when discussing his new book, which exposes his battles with attention deficit disorder and depression.
In an interview with the British newspaper The Times, he stated, "What I believe is that as a family, you learn to observe, digest, and comprehend things. It was a difficult moment for her and her family, as I am sure it was for us and our larger family, but I believe it is all about communicating and providing support and assistance when possible."
"Being there for someone is really essential, and it does not have to be on your terms, nor should it be. It should be on their terms, unconditional: 'I'm not doing it for anything in exchange. "I'm doing it because I love you," he explained.
"That's the easiest method to truly demonstrate affection. You may accomplish it in a variety of clever ways, but it's really just being there," he said.
Princess Kate's cancer diagnosis shocked her family and admirers. In March 2024, she disclosed the diagnosis and informed followers that she was undergoing treatment. The Princess of Wales then avoided the public spotlight for the majority of the year, returning in December for her traditional Christmas Carol event.
