Kensington Palace has issued a major news regarding Princess of Wales Kate Middleton.
Royal analyst Matt Wilkinson turned to X, the previous Twitter name, to deliver the palace statement about the future queen.
He tweeted, "New: A first for the Princess of Wales." She will attend her first navy vessel naming ceremony as the sponsor of HMS Glasgow next Thursday."
New: A first for the Princess of Wales. She'll take part in her first naming ceremony of a naval vessel, as sponsor of HMS Glasgow, next Thursday. The ceremony on the Clyde will see the princess release a bottle of whisky which will be broken (hopefully) against the ship's hull

Meanwhile, GB News reports that Prince William will accompany Kate Middleton to Glasgow for the naming ceremony of HMS Glasgow at BAE Systems' shipyard in Scotstoun.
The future king and queen will attend the occasion, where the Princess, the ship's Sponsor, will formally name the cutting-edge Type 26 anti-submarine frigate built to safeguard the UK's nuclear deterrent and aircraft carriers.
Kate Middleton was appointed Sponsor of HMS Glasgow in June 2021.
The centuries-old nautical practice of releasing a bottle of whiskey that will shatter against the ship's hull officially names the vessel before it enters duty with the Royal Navy.
