On Thursday, Nothing began rolling out a new operating system upgrade for its flagship smartphone, the Nothing Phone 2. It is expected to include new features while also improving performance and stability. One notable innovation is the Privacy Space feature, which functions as a digital safe and allows users to protect critical apps and data. Nothing has also released the new Nothing Gallery software, which serves as an alternative to Google Photos as the media manager for the Nothing Phone 2a. The update includes speed and stability improvements.
To download the update:
- Go to Settings > System
- Tap on System Updates and select Download and Install.
It should be noted that the update is progressively going out to all customers worldwide, and hence may be available in the following days.
Nothing, Phone 2 Update Features
Nothing stated in a post on X (previously Twitter) that the Phone 2 would receive a new Nothing OS upgrade. The upgrade allows users to use Privacy Space, which hides and secures apps like banking, finance, dating, and social networking, as well as sensitive data, from unwanted scrutiny.
