Tom Cruise's Mission Impossible series looks to have come to an end with Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning.
Following this, members of the press provided candid criticism on the film, describing it as having "sphincter-tightening set pieces, blockbusters do not get much better than this."
The Hollywood actor appeared in the ninth installment alongside Hayley Atwell, Pom Klementieff, Simon Pegg, and Hannah Waddingham.
Simon Thompson, writing for Variety magazine, said, "['Mission: Impossible- The Final Reckoning'] is whip-smart and razor-sharp, this tense eighth entry in one of the most exhilarating franchises of all time is another winner."
