Kate Middleton and King Charles made a drama-free visit on VE Day.
Their Majesties appeared to have embraced the new normal with their 'drama-free' appearance.
Judi James, a body language specialist, told the Mirror that the royals' body language today conveyed a strong message of establishing a 'New Normal' in terms of returning to basics. This was a professional, drama-free appearance.
"Charles appeared affected and thrilled to be exchanging laughs and delicate touch routines with the veterans, while William and Kate exuded the serene elegance of the future generation.
"It was Kate's full immersion during the reception and her post-service talks with the veterans that demonstrated how royal kindness can appear. Her talks were passionate and genuine, and when she met a woman in a wheelchair, she leaned down to squat on her heels to chat eye-to-eye, with multiple tactile encounters," she said.
