Prince Harry has received widespread criticism for his shocking interview with the BBC.
While the royal family opted to remain silent in response to the Duke of Sussex's disturbing statements, Prince William's close pal has spoken out.
Speaking with The Daily Beast, the Prince of Wales' acquaintance described Harry and Meghan Markle's behavior as "absolutely vile."
According to William's friend, Prince Harry "has no interest in reconciliation" despite declaring in the interview that he "would love" to reconcile.
"If he did, a period of silence would have been the right thing to do," a close friend said.
Although Harry stated that he would like to reconcile and that there is no use in "fighting anymore," he confessed, "Of course, some members of my family will never forgive me for writing a book." Of course, they will never forgive me for a variety of things. But I would wish to reconcile with my family."
Despite these sentiments, the royal family, including Prince William and King Charles, stayed focused on their royal duties and showed a united face as they began the week's celebrations commemorating the 80th anniversary of Victory in Europe on May 4.
